The Club organizes lively yet competitive tournaments attended by members and in a few instances Open Tournaments that include participation from the best golfers across the city. These tournaments are keenly attended, offer great prizes for participation and winners and ends with a celebratory function to felicitate winners.
Some of the prestigious events at the club include The Governor's Cup, The BGC Gold Medal, The Karnataka Amateur Open and The MP Davis Gold Cup. Additionally members of BGC also represent the club in several inter club matches with other golf clubs in India. As a matter of fact, the BGC versus Madras Golf Club annual match (started in 1878) is the oldest inter club annual rivalry anywhere in the world.
More often than not, the club tournaments provide a great opportunity for sponsor brands to showcase their products and services to our elite members and drive their lead generation activities.
